On Monday, April 21, 2025, Bangladesh Insurance Academy hosted a meeting at its Mohakhali office with the title "Training Programme in Inclusive Insurance" in collaboration with UNDP. Mr. Dr. Delwar Hossain, Director of the Bangladesh Insurance Academy (Addl.Charge) and Joint Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance presided over the meeting. Given the significance of inclusive insurance in the nation, the primary goal of the meeting, which is being supported by the UNDP, is to create a master trainer pool and offer training, curriculum, evaluation framework, and educational materials. Additionally, with the assistance of international experts and trainers in the insurance sector, the meeting aims to increase institutional capacity in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reduce poverty.
