The  Academy  is steered with the  following  objectives :

• To  give  professional  education  in  insurance  leading  to  certificates  and  diploma.
• To  conduct  research  on  the  insurance  industry.
• To  conduct  in-service  training  for  officers  and  employees  of  the  public  and  private  sector  insurance  organizations.
• To  train  up  insurance  officers of  other  organizations.
• To  publish  research works  and  books  on  insurance.
• To  establish  close  contacts with  local and  foreign  academic  institutions,  organize  joint   courses  and  invite  students  and trainees  from  abroad
